The U.S. Air Force’s 3rd Fighter Training Squadron has flown its last flight at Vance Air Force Base Thursday afternoon.
The Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals Unit dates back to November 1916 when it was established as 3rd Aero Squadron at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
