Slovakia’s Defense Minister Lubomir Galko said on Tuesday that two of the country’s MiG-29 fighters did not endanger a Qatar Airways Boeing 747 over the weekend.
The airliner had a radio failure and interceptors escorted the plane out of Slovak airspace.
Slovak media on Tuesday reported that the fighters came too close or endangered the lives of those on board.
