Report: Sikorsky overcharged U.S. Army for helicopter parts

A Black Hawk seat assembly costs the U.S. Army $2,510.06 when bought from Sikorsky, the same part was bought from the Defense Logistics Agency for $143.26 each.

The report by the Pengaton’s inspector general charged Sikorsky for making a profit of $930,760 by purchasing parts from the DLA and reselling them back the Army.
