New computer virus found in Iran

Iran has admitted that some of its computer systems have been infected by a new computer virus named Duqu.

The head of Iran’s civil defense organization told the official IRNA news that countermeasures have been put in place to keep the Stuxnet-like virus in check.

Security software firm Symantec was the first to mention the virus which unlike the Stuxnet, is designed to gain remote access capabilities.
