Royal Navy to replace Seawolf with Sea Ceptor

MBDA has been given a £483 million contract to develop the Sea Ceptor air defense system that will eventually replace the Seawolf on Royal Navy ships.

The missile is capable of intercepting supersonic anti-ship missiles at speeds of up to Mach 3.
