Cockpit fogging casued F-16 incident at EAA AirVenture

The pilot of the F-16C that went off the runway during EAA AirVenture in July had experienced vertigo and considered ejecting when approaching to land.

There was “extreme fogging” in the cockpit due to problems with the aircraft’s environmental control system. The pilot tried to defog the plane but was unsuccessful.
