F-15Ks facing problems with ALQ-135M

Some of South Korea’s F-15Ks have been flying without protection from their ALQ-135M electronic countermeasure system.

Korea Times reported that four of the country’s 52 F-15Ks in service are affected and the government has set aside $56 million to procure six ALQ-135Ms for spares. However, they are difficult to procure as they are only used in the F-15K and is no longer manufactured.
