The White House is not making any moves to negotiate with U.S. Senator John Cornyn over his demands to get clarification on the sale of new F-16s to Taiwan.
Cornyn has put a hold on the nomination of Mark Lippert as the new assistant secretary of defense for Asian and Pacific security affairs. The White House is not negotiating with Cornyn to remove the hold.
