Britain, Japan to jointly develop weapons

Japan and the U.K. are planning to jointly develop weapons, the the Mainichi Shimbun reported on Wednesday. This will be the first time that Japan has worked with a country other than the United States on military equipment.

Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda and his British counterpart David Cameron will kick off talks on an agreement when both meet on Apr. 10 in Tokyo.
