Taiwan might delay its F-16 upgrade program after the Pentagon ask the island to pay for nonrecurring engineering (NRE) costs of integrating an AESA radar.
Taipei might choose to wait till South Korea selects an AESA radar for its F-16s before it signs on the dotted line to avoid paying for the cost of integration.
