Northrop Grumman signs deal to kick off Alliance Ground Surveillance program

Northrop Grumman has signed a $1.7 billion contract with NATO for five Global Hawk Block 40 UAVs under the Alliance Ground Surveillance program on Sunday.

ATAC mourns loss of CAPT Thomas “TC” Bennett USN (Ret) 1954-2012

The ATAC Hawker Hunter pilot that crashed and died on May 18 has been identified as retired Capt. Thomas “TC” Bennett who was formerly CAG of Carrier Air Wing 11.

Egypt producing another 12 Chinese ASN-209 UAVs

It was reported that Egypt has almost completed the manufacture of another 12 Chinese ASN-209 UAVs. This is the second batch of aircraft, the first batch was for six aircraft.

RAF search-and-rescue Seaking lands at beach, crew members went for ice cream

A RAF search-and rescue helicopter landed at a beach in Winterton-on-Sea, Norfolk and some crew members went to buy ice cream from shops nearby.
