Norway fires first ground-based Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile from NASAMS

The Royal Norwegian Air Force has successfully fired a Raytheon Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile from a National Advanced Surface-to-Air-Missile System (NASAMS).

During the test at the Andoya Rocket Range in Northern Norway, a HAWK High-Power Illuminator radar was used as the semi-active illumination source.
