Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida will soon gain a U.S. Navy unit to test submarine missile systems.
When completed in 2015, the Strategic Weapons System Ashore facility will conduct all land-based testing of the Navy’s submarine-fired missile systems which are tested at separate locations currently.
