A close aide of German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the Eurofighter consortium is still talking to India on the MMRCA contest and the matter “is not a closed book yet.”
A Russian official also hinted that India and France had failed to see eye to eye on some issues with the Rafale deal and the whole tender could refloat.
