USAF, RAF tankers fly two-ship formation

A Royal Air Force L-1011 TriStar aerial refueling tanker from 216 Squadron, RAF Brize Norton, flew alongside a 100th Air Refueling Wing KC-135 Stratotanker in a unique training exercise that may have been the first of its kind.

Raytheon, US Navy begin JSOW C-1 integrated testing

The U.S. Navy has begun integrated testing (IT) of Raytheon’s Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW) C-1. During its first flight in IT, the JSOW C-1 was retargeted to strike a large moving ship target.

F-15E pilot was disoriented before crash

An investigation by the U.S. Air Force concluded that the pilot of a F-15E flying out of an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia had become disoriented before crashing into a radio tower.
