Russia plans to modernized its 53T6 (NATO:SH-11) component of the A-135 anti-ballistic missile system deployed around Moscow.
Deactivated in 2007, the 51T6 exoatmospheric interceptor missiles will be replaced with new ones and the two launch sites will be reactivated.
