After decommissioning its last railway-based missile unit almost a decade ago, Russia is looking into railway-based missile systems again.
Col. Vadim Koval, spokesman for the Strategic Rocket Forces, said the system is getting a second look as a means of protecting Russia’s vast landmass as global threats become more diversified.
