Shareholder sues United Technologies over export of P&W engines to China

A share holder of United Technologies has sued the company’s directors for failing to prevent the sale of
Pratt & Whitney Canada’s helicopter engines to China.

The conglomerate was fined more than $75 million by the U.S. State Department this year for exporting software code that aids the development of China’s Z-10 attack helicopter.
