Atago class destroyers to get upgraded AEGIS

Japan has requested a possible sale for the upgrade of AEGIS system on board both of its Atago class destroyers with Integrated Air Missile Defense capability.

Besides avionics upgrade, the MK41 VLS will be upgraded to Baseline 7.
