A court in South Africa has temporarily halted a delivery of Alouette III helicopters to Zimbabwe.
Human rights group AfriForum made an urgent interim court order on Jan. 25 and a final decision to ban the transfer will be made by Feb. 19.
South Africa’s defense ministry said the aircraft would not be assembled and would be used only for spare parts.
