USS Harry S. Truman’s recent COMPTUEX saw the participation of B-1B bombers from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas. The 337th Test and Evaluation Squadron is using the opportunity to develop JMD tactics, techniques and procedures.
JMD is a mission that B-1 aircrews deployed to the Middle East could be tasked to support. Its main role is to provide armed overwatch for a carrier strike group.
