MV-22s land on USS Bonhomme Richard

VMM-265 chose Thailand as the location to carry out the first MV-22 landing on board USS Bonhomme Richard on Feb. 19.

130219-N-VA915-079 GULF OF THAILAND (Feb. 19, 2013) ?An MV-22 Osprey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 265 takes off from the flight deck of the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) as another Osprey prepares for take-off. The Bonhomme Richard ARG, currently on deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, is taking part in Cobra Gold, a Thai-U.S. co-sponsored multinational joint exercise designed to advance regional security by exercising a robust multinational force from nations sharing common goals and security commitments in the Asia-Pacific region. RMAF accepts ThalesRaytheonSystems’ C2 system

The Royal Malaysian Air Force has accepted a C2 system made by ThalesRaytheonSystems. The Malaysian Air Defense Ground Environment Sector Operations Center III (MADGE) program integrates legacy system with Sentry command and control system and the Ground Master 400 (GM 400) radar.
