French, Italian crew fired SAMP/T at ballistic missile target

An Italian Army and French Air Force crew fired a SAMP/T interceptor against a ballistic threat on Mar. 6.

This test firing was unique as the Link 16 was used to communicate with NATO BMDOC and the firing test was done in a NATO environment.
