USS George H.W. Bush gets Torpedo Warning System

The Rapid Prototype Torpedo Warning System (TWS) and Countermeasure Anti-Torpedo (CAT) system have been installed on board USS George H.W. Bush during the ship’s recent planned incremental availability (PIA) period.

Together with the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) PMS 415’s Surface Ship Torpedo Defense (SSTD) team, the carrier tested the TWS/CAT for the first time on Mar. 19.
