U.S. Air Force Tech Sgt. Christofer Curtis is back flying in the CV-22 as flight navigator after being injured in a crash in Afghanistan three years ago.
Curtis, who serves with the 8th Special Operations Squadron at Hurlburt Field, broke 17 bones and underwent 14 surgeries. It took him seven months to walk again and almost two years before he was released from the hospital.
