Kazakh MiG-31 crashed

The Kazakhstan Air Force lost a MiG-31 on Apr. 23. The pilot was killed and the co-pilot survived.

The aircraft is from military department 50185 and was flying the fifth flight of the day when the incident happened. It was flying at 10,000ft when the aircraft started to roll left and went into a dive. The crew ejected around 3,000ft but the pilot’s parachute failed to deploy after ejection.
