RCMP called in to recover radar transmitter

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) had to be called in to recover a wave radar transmitter that was sold off accidentally.

The $29,000 transmitter was sold off for $37 at a government auction in 2009. When the government tried to recover it, the buyer refused to return it. Thus the police was called in to retrieve the item.
