DARPA’s Hydra project is to develop an unmanned submersible that will carry and deploy unmanned air and underwater vehicles.
Hydra will use modular payloads within a standardized enclosure to deliver these UAVs and UUVs while submerged.
DARPA will conduct industry briefings on the Hydra program on Aug. 5.
