Investigation found USAF F-16 pilot flew into terrain

An investigation by the USAF determined that Capt. James Steel, a F-16C pilot deployed to Afghanistan, flew his jet into a mountain in April.

Steel had chose to land back at Bagram Air Field on VFR when the weather conditions that night was bad enough to warrant an IFR approach.
