Four AH-1W pilots with VMM-263 (Reinforced) had the opportunity to fire AIM-9s off the coast of Jacksonville, N.C., Aug. 27.
The training also allowed MV-22 pilots to get their training requirement for dropping battlefield illuminations by dropping flares for the AIM-9s to lock on.
