Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) is struggling to complete development of the Intermediate Jet Trainer (IJT) after flight tests revealed that the aircraft is having issues with asymmetric stability.
The aircraft was found to roll around 16 degrees during stall tests. To address the issue, BAE Systems has been hired as consultant.
