Between Nov. 18 and Dec. 10, a truck-mounted laser weapon from the U.S. Army successfully engage more than 90 mortar rounds and several unmanned aerial vehicles in flight.
The High Energy Laser Mobile Demonstrator (HEL MD) underwent the first full-up demonstration at White Sands Missile Range.
