The inquest into the death of a Red Arrows pilot was told that the RAF wasn’t aware of a safety issue for the Martin Baker ejection seat on the Hawk.
The firm warned some air forces in other countries that over-tightening a nut and bolt in the mechanism of the seat could cause the parachute not to deploy properly.
