The U.S. Air Force 412th Operations Group has recommended that Boeing’s Phantom Eye be awarded experimental status.
This will allow the liquid hydrogen-fueled unmanned aircraft to fly to a test range several miles away from Edwards Air Force Base to complete its endurance and altitude testing.
