SRCTec’s ground-based radar to provide sense and avoid solution for U.S. Army UAVs

SRCTec has been selected was the winner for the U.S. Army’s Ground-Based Sense and Avoid (GBSAA) program.

Under the $7.2 million contract, SRCTec will install radars at ten Army GBSAA test sites around the country. The system will allow unmanned aircraft to fly in the national airspace without a chase plane or ground observer by detecting and avoid aircraft in the vicinity of the UAV.
