A Gulfstream IV belonging to NOAA has to abort its takeoff at MacDill Air Force Base on Sept. 10, 2013 because of a “fish strike.”
The fish, a sheepshead, apparently came from an Osprey that had caught its prey and was flying underneath the jet while it was rolling on the runway.
