NAVAIR could still clear USMC F-35Bs for U.K. trip

A spokeswoman for the F-35 joint program office told Defense News that it is possible for U.S. Navy to clear the F-35Bs that belonged to the U.S. Marine Corps for the trans-Atlantic flight to Britain.

However, it would be unlikely the British F-35B will make the trip as the U.K. flight worthiness clearance will take longer than the Americans.
