It has been revealed that the KC-46 being assembled at Boeing Everett was damaged by a sprinkler malfunction.
U.S. Defense Undersecretary Frank Kendall told reporters that this together with several other events would mean higher than expected costs in the development phase of the tanker for Boeing.
