China to test world’s largest amphibious aircraft next year

China will test fly the TA-600, world’s largest amphibious aircraft, in Guangdong province next year, an executive from China Aviation Industry General Aircraft said.

The seaplane is expected to replaced the Navy’s aging SH-5 amphibian.

  1. It is still not as big as the Martin JRM Mars , two of which are still operational.
