F-35 test planes cleared to fly 6 six hours before engine inspections

The Pentagon has further eased restrictions imposed on the F-35 test fleet by allowing the roughly twenty jets to to fly six hours between engine inspection if their missions involved aerial refueling missions and weapons testing.

Other test flights and training jets operated by the U.S. Air Force and Marine Corps are still restricted by the three hourly engine inspections.
