GE Korea eyes South Korea’s KFX project

Khang Sung-wook, president and CEO of GE Korea, told reporters that his company is keen to participate in South Korea’s KFX fighter program.

Highlighting the use of his company’s F404 engine to power the KAI T-50, Khang said “through the KFX program, GE seeks to elevate its level of contribution to the growth and development of Korea’s aerospace defense industry by expanding collaboration on the development of engine technologies and supporting exports of Korean fighter jets.”
