The Indian Navy could abandon the co-development of a Short Range Surface to Air Missile (SR-SAM) with MBDA.
The missile was supposed to be inducted into all three services, however, both the Air Force and Army have since found other solutions to be their needs.
With the future of the project in doubt, the service has recently issued a request for information for a similar type of missile.
