Hurriyet Daily News reported that a U.S. Air Force F-15, most likely an E-model, made an emergency landing at Batman air base in Turkey on Aug. 21.
The aircraft was taking part in operations against IS fighters in Iraq and its original destination was Qatar.
American personnel from Incirlik were dispatched to fix the jet’s hydraulic system before it flew out of Turkey a few days later.
