Algeria could miss chance to buy C-17s

Boeing has warned Algeria that the African nation risks missing the chance to acquire some of 10 unsold C-17s that have yet to find a customer.

Paul Oliver, Boeing’s vice-president for business development in the Middle East and Africa, told Flight Global that customers have approach his company to try snap up the remaining aircraft. He said Algeria’s slow acquisition process could hinder its bid to secure the last remaining jets.
