Graduating pilots and weapons systems officers of the F-15E Basic Course at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base were fortunate enough to meet retired Lt. Col. Robert Pardo when he came to the base for a visit on Oct. 10.
Pardo is famous for his “Pardo Push” maneuver whereby he pushed his wingman’s badly damaged F-4 to friendly air space during the Vietnam War using just the tailhook.
