Panchi UAV makes maiden flight

India’s wheeled version of the Nishant UAV, dubbed Panchi, made its maiden flight on Dec. 24.

The unmanned aircraft, developed by DRDO, flew for 20 minutes at the Kolar airfield in Karnataka.
