USS Ranger, featured in the movie “Top Gun”, will be broken up at International Shipbreaking’s facility in Brownsville, Texas next year.
The U.S. Navy sold the aircraft carrier for one cent. It will be towed from Bremerton, Washington, down and around South America to the Gulf of Mexico.
