Taiwan has embarked on a program to boost the intercept range of the Skybow 3 missile from 45 to 70 km.
This will allow Taiwan’s air defenses to engage missiles from China as they re-enter the atmosphere. The project is given the name Chiang Kung or Strong Bow.
Chung-Shan Institute of Science & Technology also officially acknowledge the existence of the CS/MPQ-90 mobile 3D air defense radar.
