The U.S. Army’s 16th Combat Aviation Brigade has just ended its mission to Afghanistan and the unit is now preparing to focus its attention on upcoming assignments in the Pacific.
For a start, its helicopters will soon travel from Joint Base Lewis-McChord to NAS Whidbey Island for the crews to familiarize themselves with flying over water and landing on ships.
