Taiwan’s civil aviation officials have protested against 4 new airways setup by China that will go into effect on Mar. 5.
The main airway M503 runs from northeast to southwest and is situated close to the imaginary line separating both sides.
The Ministry of National Defense said the new airways does not affect its air defense posture and will intercept any unidentified aircraft if necessary.
